Thoughts are like dynamite.

They can lay dormant within us. But the moment they are thought, lit up by our attention, they ignite and explode, causing powerful reactions in ourselves and subsequently, our worlds.

Our thoughts can be catalysts for change, awkwardness, pain, transformation, joy, or nothing.

They can save us, kill us, elevate us, or mangle us.

Thoughts are the beginning and the end of how the pathways of our realities are decided.

They matter. Like, a lot.

The sum of your thoughts is your mindset.

Mindset is the brain's invisible muscle and like a muscle it can be weak or powerful.

Luckily, your mindset can be strengthened through training...

...and arguably, it must be strengthened, if you want to live your fullest life.

That’s why I created monthly Mindset Trainings.

Too many parenting "experts" out there focus on what you're doing wrong.

That if you just knew these X, Y, Z techniques, it would all be better.

My experience as a parent and a parent coach is that
most of us know what to do.

We just find it really hard to actually do it.

It's like when I wanted to get in shape. I knew what I needed to do.

But for many years, I couldn't translate that knowledge into my real life choices and habits.

On and on the fitness industry hollered at me about calorie deficits and strength training and macros and HIIT workouts.

They made it seem simple and in theory, it was.

In real life though? My mindset was constantly getting in the way.

And the more I didn't do what I knew I should do, the worse I felt.

Sound familiar?

I don't know about you, but when I come from a place of feeling like I'm not enough or not doing a good job, my brain isn't primed to learn or act.

Especially if I'm feeling shame, embarrassment, defensiveness, or guilt.

The years I spent focusing on what I hated about my body, what wasn't good enough, punishing workouts, and "earning" my food, I rarely got the results I wanted.

Then I CHANGED MY THINKING.

Now, at 38, I'm the most fit I've ever been and the healthiest, physically and mentally.

Here’s the thing, we’re here to focus on the ways you're already strong and "grow from where you're at" rather than "fix the hot mess that is you."

Because you? You are NOT a hot mess. 

Hot? Yes. Mess? No.

Just a living, breathing badass who is ready for a mindset upgrade.
